However, it is easy to navigate the island and quite drivable for families.

Grenada has a very tropical climate and is of volcanic origin, with a peak height of 2,760 feet at Mount St. Catherine. For families, this translates to wonderful hiking, waterfalls, beautiful agriculture and an incredible and safe island to explore with varying ages and demographics. Truly, Grenada is not just a beach retreat.

Due to the location of this island, most of the year is a pretty safe travel time for families. In fact, many insurance companies do not require yachts to be pulled out of the St. George Harbor due to its natural disposition, depth and location.
