This inn is a nice, inexpensive place to stay for families visiting Bellingham on a budget. There are 81 standard rooms, two one-room suites, and one two-room suite, so families can choose whichever option gives them the most space to breathe and not step on one another’s toes. One unit includes a kitchenette, while the others have refrigerators and coffee makers, so you’ll have a little independence as far as food and beverages go. You do have plenty of other food options though, starting with a free continental breakfast; lunch and dinner are easy thanks to the proximity to restaurants, shops, and cafes. The hotel also features in-room Internet access.

Good value and easy access

This hotel is located right next to I5. This has both good and bad sides. It makes it extremely easily accessible, but also means that you can hear the highway 24/7, when you are outside. On the positive side, then it was not loud at all from our rooms on the backside of the hotel.

Apart from the location then it is actually quite good value for money. Decent rooms, good breakfast and nice people in the reception. We had a positive experience staying in Bellingham and would be happy to come back another time.

No manager on weekends to handle problems and issue refunds

This was my go-to hotel in Bellingham until my recent poor experience. There was a plumbing leak in my room. I reported it and was told later that day that it had been fixed. But it wasn't fixed. I asked to be moved to another room, but the hotel was full. I immediately checked out (this was a Saturday evening) and asked for a full refund. The staff refused and refused to contact the manager when I asked. I was told the manager doesn't work on weekends. What kind of 24/7 business doesn't have a manager on call 24/7? Needless to say, I will never stay at the hotel again.
