Monster Mania Package

by PopPops12

We booked here for a break with two children aged 5 and 2, Gullivers World is perfect for this age group, the 5 year old could go on the majority of rides with an adult.

The hotel was small but really nice, we had a room with bunkbeds in a separate area in between the bathroom and the main bedroom, this was great as it gave us all some space from each other! The kids loved the TVs at the end of each bunk. The main bedroom was really spacious with an additional single bed and room for a travel cot. Everywhere was spotless.

The only criticism of the hotel room would be the lack of a fridge and the kettle was dangerous on the dressing table with little ones around, there was nowhere to lift it up out of the way.

The foyer to the hotel was very small which was a shame as they had activities going on in the evening and a singer, if there had been more space this would have been more enjoyable.

The monster mania package included food which is served in the theatre in the theme park and not the hotel, we hadn’t realised this before we booked. The food is very basic but it was absolutely fine, the set up suits families with small children as there is entertainment and food arrives quickly!

Overall this was a great little break and we would recommend it.

Wish I could live in the princess room!

by MarilynKhalifa

Well, where to start... first time we stayed at this hotel was a surprise for my mum, she’d been very ill and come out of hospital just before her birthday, to our absolute surprise the room we booked had been upgraded by the hotel to a princess suite? No idea why they did this but WOW, we were beyond amazed when we unlocked the hotel door. Unfortunately we haven’t been able to afford the princess suite since, but we have stayed several times in the family room for special occasions, my little sister has severe autism and she is FASCINATED by the bunk bed rooms. The rooms have always been clean and had everything we need, disabled bathrooms are so spacious, just fantastic. The ONLY thing I would like at this hotel is more lighting on the driveway to the hotel of a night as it is in the middle of the forest and can be a bit scary if arriving late. Apart from that, it’s our favourite hotel.
