Too expensive for the service

by paulof40

The best think the hotel have is a heated pool with a connection to the outside pool, so there's two heated pools, one inside and the other outside.

Downsides:
Once we arrived we had bugs in our bathtub, I've complained and they sent someone to clean it.
In the next morning, with the sunlight we found out the room was full of dust and badly cleaned. Even after a complain, we can still see dust. Luckly for us, none of our kids has allergies.

The restaurant, it's nice to have a buffet, but for the price, I would expect better food. The food lacked flavour, despite the option to have a meat and fish dishes.
In a region with a good source of great ingredients and simple recipes for delicious food this is outrageous.
The assortment of local cheese was good.
The breakfast was decent, with a less positive note for the bacon, that should not be sink in the fat.

Overall the hotel is good, but not worth the near 300€/night rate (suite with one child and a baby), because if you charge high, we're expecting high quality service.

Enjoy the mountains in luxury

by Filipe A

Surrounded by the mountains and you'll enjoy the big interior and outdoor pools complex with hot water with an amazing view. In my opinion is magic to be in the outdoor hot pool being cold outside. The rooms are comfortable and cosy and the hotel gives you the feeling of a mountain chalet. I would expect a better breakfast for the price of the hotel. At evening you have animation in the bar area. The hotel has a car park outside. The hotel provides you the rope but bring your swimsuit and water cap. I recommend this hotel for families as there's offer to all the ages. You'll need to take mountain roads to reach to the hotel (about 10km), so plan you trip with time. The hotel as a restaurant but you also have restaurants in the small village that you can go by car or walking. The price of the hotel is high for the 4 stars hotels in Portugal but I don't know other one with this big indoor/outdoor pools with hot water.
