Huge letdown

by jf19572017

The web-site must be from ten years ago as this resort is tired and worn. It appears the owners have given up on the place. Our cottage had many minor repairs that needed fixing. The pool was not heated and the beach was not cleaned. The fitness facilities were a joke - some old junk that was put into a room - could not use anything in there. Overall overpriced and extremely disappointing. The best part of the stay was going for dinner at the resort next door.

Old and Run Down

by IM10707

We stayed this past November for a hockey tournament. The cottages are nothing special. Mouse faces in the drawers, and on the bathroom floor. Old VCRs, no TV in the rooms. The furniture in the rooms is old, dusty and had dead flies on it.

The "games room" had a pool table with no cues that were usable and it was missing several balls. The one TV with cable was in the common area but the lights kept turning off unexpectedly.

I made the mistake of going behind the doors of the common area to look for a cleaning bottle or staff - looks like a hoarders house.

One of the team parents turned on the fan in their room and a blade was ejected and flew across the room.

Funniest part is there was a picture book in the common area of the resort in the 50s and 60s. IT IS QUITE CLEAR THAT THE 50s and 60s WAS THE HAYDAY OF THIS RESORT!!

For the price we all paid you'd expect some upkeep and care being put into the place.

I would never suggest this place to anyone.
