Great Hotel close to Boulder

by Rena0109

We usually stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Boulder but they have priced us out....we decided to try this hotel instead. Very pleased!! Locations is great...about 10 minutes north of the CU campus. Hotel is new and staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was better than I had anticipated...coffee was nice and strong...IT HAD FLAVOR!! Room was good, bathroom large with open vanity that you can put your toiletries down underneath. Quiet location, even with the train going by (didn't hear it at all during the night). There isn't a lot of restaurants around, closest one is Elements Bistro literally across the parking lot. We did not go there. We would definitely stay here again.

This stay sucked

The room was facing the railroad tracks. Train disturbed sleep. Breakfast was horrible. Water sat in the pan of scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, no whole milk, bananas were black, potatoes were cold. Paid $30 more for $193.00 less satisfaction. The last place I stayed was less money. We got omelet to order and real eggs. The fruit was fresh and the accommodations were phenomenal. But that was the Renaissance..Marriott.
