Harbor View Motel and Cottages is a lovely, family-friendly property with a private beach in Southwest Harbor, Maine, close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. It’s located within a 5-minute walk of the downtown area of Southwest Harbor, a picturesque village full of adorable cafes, restaurants, shops and parks.

Guestrooms offer one king bed or two double beds, and some have a mini-fridge for storing snacks and beverages. Some rooms also have deck space. Cribs and rollaway beds are available upon request (fees may apply). Complimentary Wi-Fi is available to all guests, as is free parking.

Lovely staff and continental breakfast

This hotel is a no frills hotel at a reasonable price. The rooms are clean, but quite old. The furniture is from an early age. There is no decoration. There is only soap in the bathrooms, so bring your own products. The bed was very hard. The setting was beautiful.

Stayed here recently. The beds leave a little to be desired (old spring style mattress), but clean, and worth the price. As others have said, it is an older property, but you can tell the owners keep up with maintenance. This is in a great location, and i would stay here in the future. Convenient walking distance to the Upper Deck and what i would consider "downtown" restaurants (Dry Dock Inn and quietside cafe). It is obviously tourist, season so more traffic than usual but not bad. The picture I uploaded is not the best, but the others posted here capture the area well.
