Overview

These authentic log cabins offer plenty of space for a large family to spread out. Their Grande Cabin includes a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom and queen and double beds in a spacious loft. There’s a comfortable living room and full kitchen with oven, stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, dishes and utensils. Breakfast items are stocked in the refrigerator for you to prepare on your own schedule. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi.

The B&B is located 8 miles north of downtown Palmer on the road to Hatcher Pass. Cabins are nestled in the trees, providing quiet from the highway and privacy from other guests. Restaurants and stores are 10 miles back toward Palmer, so it’s a good idea to stock up on groceries before you arrive. If you forget anything, there is a small convenience store across the road from the cabins. The drive to Hatcher Pass is one of the most scenic drives in the area. There are also numerous hiking trails along the road. Ten miles from your cabin, don’t miss Independence Mine State Historical Park, site of a large abandoned gold mine. Back in Palmer, kids will love feeding reindeer at the Reindeer Farm, and petting musk oxen at the Musk Ox Farm. With its quiet location and spacious cabins, the Hatcher Pass B&B is a great choice for your Alaskan family vacation.

Great little cabin

by CyndiSR

My husband and I took a road trip to Hatcher Pass before our cruise. It was one of the highlights of our trip! We went to the Alaska state fair and visited the local glacier. The B&B was adorable -- a simple, quiet little cabin was just what we needed. Liz was great to work with and helped us with our itinerary.

Hatching recommendations!

We stayed two days in small cabin and two days in larger cabin. The accommodations were terrific, clean and well appointed. Lots to do in the area, and well out of town so very quiet. Sausage and eggs, along with other breakfast items were so thoughtful. You need to search no farther, book now.
