A Salamander Beach & Spa Resort, The Henderson provides everything you need for a luxurious, relaxing vacation in Destin, Florida. Perks for families include direct access to the beach, beach equipment and water sports rentals, bike rentals, family and adults-only pools, restaurants, Poppy’s Kids Club (with both day and nighttime programming), a fitness center, spa and so much more. A daily resort fee applies.

Wonderful stay!

We spent the weekend at The Henderson for our anniversary. It exceeded our expectations! Service was perfection from all staff. It is a beautiful resort. Room was gorgeous! Very clean and spacious! Gym is great with everything you need and more. Very easy walk to beautiful private beach. We had a wonderful dinner at Primrose. Food and service both excellent. The spa is one of the best I’ve been to. So beautiful! Great service! Lovely amenities to enjoy with any spa service like Himalayan salt room, lavender steam room, experiential shower, hot tub and a beautiful relaxion room with snacks. Highly recommend The Henderson and look forward to our next visit.

We loved staying at The Henderson. The furnishings are so lovely and the staff very friendly. We highly recommend this resort. Every detail has been covered with the design of this facility. Just very well done!
