Get Away

This place was very nice. Rooms were very clean and beds were super comfortable. Nice kitchenette with everything you need to cook yourself. Hot tub and Sauna were great! Easy to get to and they also offer free busing to downtown.

Great Mountain Getaway - Hot Pools are a Must!

Came here for a weekend way after hearing a special on the radio about a Keg dinner evening where we were provided with Keg steaks and sides to cook for ourselves. It was a nice spot further away from Banff town centre with little cabin style rooms with log burning fireplaces and a full kitchenette. We booked the regular room with the Keg steak dinner but got upgraded to a larger room (two floors, sleeps 8) which was a lovely surprise. The fireplaces are great and it has everything you need to make any food you need. Also has tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The larger rooms have two queen beds on the top floor with a toilet (no shower) and a bedroom with one queen and a full bath on the main floor with a balcony and dining table. I also think the sofa is a sofabed as well. It has a lovely pool area with both a hot and a warm pool and a really hot dry sauna. They give you kindling to light the fire and there is wood everywhere to use around the premises. We had a great weekend; the rooms were comfortable and warm and we had everything we needed. The only thing I would say is that the rooms are a bit dated – the beds and utilities etc. everything works perfectly well but everything is very rustic old cabin style and hasn’t been replaced in a little while. This really doesn’t matter and is usually the case in a lot of the Banff cabin-style lodging; unless you are looking for brand new grantie countertops and hardwood floors etc. The keg steak dinner (cooked on the facility shared BBQs) was really good and so worth the package cost.
