Imagine waking up to ocean views of Coconut Island. This is what awaits families at Castle Resort’s Hilo Hawaiian on the Big Island. Over 280 hotel rooms feature refrigerators, air conditioning and cable television. Families can also stay in suites with one bedroom, a separate living room and a kitchenette. Queen’s Court Restaurant serves a daily breakfast buffet and weekend dinner buffet. A large swimming pool will satiate children and a nine-hole golf course is across the street. Onekahakaha Beach is a couple miles away. Drive to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park for a day filled with exploring and learning about Kilauea and Mauna Loa (the volcanoes). The Big Island has a heap of family-friendly attractions. Go horseback riding, tour botanical gardens or play golf. At Kahaluu Beach Park kids will love snorkeling and playing with turtles.

Nice hotel with great views of the bay and Coconut Island. Easy parking with access to all the surrounding parks. Several restaurants within walking distance too. Would choose it again on a future trip to Hilo.

Our stay at Hilo Hawaiian was nice and quiet. Rooms were sufficient and clean but getting dated especially in bathroom. Reccomend they have a coffee station or kiosk in morning for to go coffee. I went to Uncle Billy's general store next door for my morning cup.
