Reviews

Great hotel, horrible food.

We stay at this location every time we visit ATL. The rooms have always been clean and the staff are extremely nice. My only advice would be to eat out!! We decided to try the food at the hotel and it was beyond disgusting and very pricey!

Indifferent staff

So I arrive at the hotel in the afternoon, and the check-in experience is average. I was not able to check-in through the app, and have to fo to the desk. The honors sign is there just to be there. I don't mind staying in the line and check-in...
I have booked a suite with Whirpool, and when I try to use it, only one of the jets work. Tomorrow morning and on my way out I inform the reception, and they promise to fix it. In the evening and when I come back, it's not. I call the desk and no one answers! I go downstairs to follow up and they don't know why no one has done anything. Finally, they suggest I move to another room (but no offer for any help)
I move to the new room and at night when I try to use the tub, the drain is broken! I can only use it if the water is continuously running. Calling the front desk, no one answers, and I give up!
On 4th day and during the checkout, the lady at the desk (Lisa) asks if I was happy with my stay, and I say I had issues, but she doesn't seem to be interested and doesn't ask about it! Just if I want a hard copy of my receipt, which I say yes please.
While waiting for the pring I decide to tell her the issue and in the end, she asks if I talked about the 2nd issue with them. I say no, and she says I should have, because unlike the jet, they could fix the drain. I smile and ask if she thinks it's my fault then and she answers "YES" in a very rude tone! OK, not a problem, just please give me my receipt. But then again, she says "our system is very slow and you have to wait" and leaves to do something else in the back.
Well, dear Lisa, I can pring the receipt at home. It just seems that the "we make it right" signs were just part of the decor in my room. I remember to stay somewhere without those signs next time!
