Quick overnight stay

by Sionainne

Stayed here overnight to visit my son at UNC-Charlotte. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. I saw all the amenities but didn't get a chance to take advantage of them because my stay was so short. I loved the proximity to the Boardwalk and had a wonderful breakfast at the Toastery. Definitely a place to stop for breakfast. Next time I go to Charlotte, this will be my first choice of hotel.

Aging property and mismanagement!

by bridgelady2019

The only reason for this trip was a Bridge Tournament! The vast majority of those staying at the hotel were tournament participants, thus on the same schedule. The escalator from the meeting rooms to the restaurant and hotel rooms was out of order the entire week and one elevator was not operational for most of the week. Many were unable to climb stairs due to age and/or physical condition, and the first couple of days the stairwell doors were locked with no outside handles or access. Later they were propped open for access, but the stairwells were dirty and stinky from smokers.
