Located next to the Reagan National Airport, this Hilton is also near the Washington D.C. Metrorail, making it super convenient for families to explore the national monuments and museums in Washington D.C. The hotel also offers a daily complimentary shuttle to the airport, metro station or nearby shops and restaurants. The guestrooms and suites feature one king or two queen beds, a mini-fridge, flat screen television and a sitting area with a sleeper sofa. Additionally, some of the suites feature a separate living room and dining area and a second television. Cribs are available upon request. Adults can stay on top of workout routines at the fitness center with its cardio and weight machines. Complimentary Wi-Fi is a great way to stay on top of work or home while traveling. And there are several onsite restaurant options for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner.

Hilton Crystal City delivers on every front. Location and parking are very convenient. Lounge is outstanding and service in the lounge is welcoming and pleasant. Room was comfortable and large for the price, considering the location. Right next to Legal Seafood restaurant with half-price oysters during happy hour!! Definitely recommend.
I reviewed this hotel in Oct 2016 when I stayed here for an event, and I returned for another instance of the same event. I'm still quite disappointed.
As an example, last time I commented on how noisy my room was because the fan would come on with such force. This room is noisy in a different way, with the fan basically rattling like a haunted house. (The room is otherwise pretty nice however.)
But last time I complimented the catering of the event, and this time I would say anything but. Examples: I noticed a fruit tray at breakfast today. Nice melons, many nice strawberries, and a pile of strawberries in the center with obvious large visible mold! Who puts that out without noticing the fruit is rotten?
The main banquet had pretty disappointing food. A salad with a number of nice items ... but no dressing. Several people put a white creamy substance on, thinking it must be dressing since it's next, but it was actually sour cream for the baked potatoes several steps down the buffet line. The chicken and beef were both disappointingly tough. The staff made no attempt to clear plates, leaving attendees to bring dirty plates to the side of the room if they wanted room for dessert/coffee.
The main reason for the strongly negative rating is the repetition of the super-noisy HVAC. I would not stay here voluntarily and returned this time only because of the event taking place here. After 3 years I really hoped that wouldn't be an issue. Am I truly that unlucky?
The catering is another issue, and a caveat for those who might want to hold an event here.
