Overview

This pleasant Hilton Garden Inn features a warm and welcoming lobby with a roaring fireplace, and is located within a short walk to the southern end of Lake Union’s kayaking and sailing opportunities and also from the famed Pike’s Place Market in downtown Seattle. The hotel offers a spacious 600-square-foot king bed suite with a pullout sleeper sofa, 42-inch LCD TV, living area, work desk, mini-refrigerator, wet bar, and of course, free Wi-Fi. Parents will enjoy the Suite Dreams by Serta bed ergonomic Mirra chair by Herman Miller and Keurig coffee/tea maker. Classic guestrooms with a pair of queen beds are also available and feature all of the same amenities only in a smaller space. Kids will love to swim in the salterwater indoor pool after a day of trekking all over downtown Seattle.

Where is the customer service?

by mynameiznicki

I arrived at the hotel late Sunday after a long flight and before my first day of work for a new job only to be told I would be responsible for paying for travel that was booked by my new employer’s travel department. I was initially told I couldn’t check in at all until authorization was provided, so feared I was a bit stranded in Seattle. Though I called my travel service and had them speak directly with the manager, I was told to wait while an authorization was emailed, filled out and sent back. Since when do guests need to prepay for a stay? It would have been better customer service to have offered accommodation while the whole thing was sorted but it seems customer service isn’t as huge a priority as proper paperwork.

Bumped from hotel at last minute - poor service

by 98danr

Having checked in with Digital Key I received an email saying they had overbooked and I had to stay at the Crowne Plaza instead. This is a very nice hotel. But being bumped at the last minute after a long flight to Seattle and with no recognition/apology of this when I arrived the next day does not meet my expectations for the brand
