Rock hard bed with flat pillows. Heat didnt work properly and the room costs 200 bucks for a standard king. The bathroom is small enough that they hang the towels in the shower. This was holiday inn quality for the price of a good room at any other Hilton I've stayed at.
First the good things:
+ Proximity to the airport
+ Free shuttles to and from the airport (although most of the hotels and parking lots have it)
+ Friendly staff and front desk
- Hotel needs upgrades desperately. (See details below)
The hotel is old and you may feel you are in a time capsule once you are in the rooms. Very old style. And in my room, the AC wasnt working. I was given a fan and had to manage it! I have NEVER experienced such an issue in a hotel such as HILTON! Very strange! Since I checked in late in the night and was very tired, I did not have the strength to argue and change the room again.
The staff was very friendly and they gave me another room where the AC was working. And the room was not that bad as the first night experience.
Also, at check-in, I had double booking and Asmereth Bezabeh was VERY RESOURCEFUL in getting this resolved. She calmly guided me through what could be done and got it taken care of in a matter of minutes! Lessons learned that you should NOT book through SnapTravel!!!
DIdnt get to get the other hotel facilities so cannot comment on it.
