Where do start to even begin to say what a lovely time me and my family had at this resort. It was our third visit, this time we returned after a 5 year break. It is a testament to the fact that this place is really nice, manicured grounds, very friendly and attentive staff, great pools, amazing apartment.
We stayed in 1 bed apartment. Before arrival I asked if we could we placed in same building as we did few years ago, they said should be fine, but because we arrived to check in early we were offered an apartment slightly further away from main building and if we didn’t like it we could wait for original room. There was no need to worry! When I opened the door and saw the apartment it was pure luxury! Dark wooden floors, amazing kitchen, massive tv in living room and bedroom! I could go on and on! The bottom line is you want a bit of luxury, close to seaworld and aquatica ( you can walk to seaworld) 10 min drive from prime outlets at Vineland , 20 min max to Universal’s and I drive , don’t hesitate to stay there. They do charge a resort fee( around $28 per night and you get 2 bottles of water or coffee per day, internet, self parking ). You might think that’s steep, but most of the Orlando hotels and resorts do that now. They call it a parking fee, resort fee, etc... I would come back in heartbeat, just need to recover after tackling all the Orlando theme parks ????????
We had a two bedroom. It was very nice. Clean. Well stocked. This is a large property and we were far away from the main pool but the smaller pool was basically in our backyard.
Room-it had king size bed , sunken tub, bathroom with two sinks and a shower. The other side had a full tub bathroom and king size bed. Large rooms. Everything was clean and it worked. The only thing I wish they had was the lamps in the bedroom didn’t have a place to plug in my phone without the full charger. The more modern Hilton hotels have that updated technology piece.
Pools-very large and nice. Plenty of chairs. I wish they would police the owners chair better as people were sitting in that space that didn’t have wristbands. They had lots of games, snow cones, drinks. There was always some doing some type of entertainment at the main pool. They did run out of towels a few days in a row but more came back out after a little while. The pool at the farthest building was nice. Never ran out of towels. Clean, had hot tub. Plenty of chairs.
Restaurant- we only had drinks and lunch there. It was a little expensive so we usually went out instead. The food was good and had nice portions. Service was good and friendly. It was very hot and it was a open air restaurant so no air conditioner.
This property is right up the street to sea world. Plenty of restaurants for all types of
budgets near by. Universal studios was about 10-15 min away. Everything very close.
We would definitely stay here again.
