Great hotel to stay. All its accommodation are excellent. The breakfast is very complete, cold a hot food. The bedrooms are large and very comfortable. The pool is quite small, but it's OK. Finally, it's well located close to Pasadena old town.
I stayed here for one night on a spring break trip with the family. The location was good, and the hotel was nice -- everything that others have noted in other reviews.
However, I did have a bad experience with my bill upon checking out. I had booked at 'AAA Park and Stay' rate, which includes parking. When I checked in, I drove into the self-parking lot. The person at front desk asked if I have parked, and I said yes. When I got my bill, there was parking included. No problem, I figured -- I would just go to the front desk and get that cleared up. Well, the front desk person said that the Park and Stay rate was for valet parking not self-parking. Then, she went and asked her manager about my rate, and the answer was the same: they would not deduct the parking from my bill. So, not only was I charged $21 for self-parking, but I was already paying for parking as part of my package hotel rate. I find it very concerning that management would not honor their rate, and simply take the $21 off of my bill. They do not seem to think that an unhappy customer or a negative review is worth $21.
