Not Perfect but worth the Stay.

Overall it is a Great Hotel.

The Bad, finding the front desk when you have to enter from the main parking lot and never been here. Not enough waitstaff when 100% booked. Executive lounge food was very lite appetizers. Includes a very small breakfast too. But guessing thats fone on purpose.

The Good,
Very nice and helpful front desk. Having a bar open when you arrive early (12pm), access to Exec. Lounge 24 hours, Dinner was incredible. Crab cakes were good., Room was clean but the corner rooms have small bathrooms (4 feet from tub edge to sink counter), door missed the toilet by 3 inches. Walls were ok, but you could definitely hear conversations in the room next door. The lil gal running the Exec. Lounge during drink and app time was really nice and helpful. This exec lounge charges for their beer and wines. They do have snacks all the time. M&Ms, Gummy Bears, Cheeze its and Animal crackers.
If you are there for the Chip and Joanne experience, the free trolly runs right past the hotel. You will need to catch it across the street though (shops side) by the corner. Should be an orange cone or something like that marking the pickup point.
Motel is stocked well too for getting stuff toy may have forgot.
Hope to come back again in the future.

Overbooked Hotel

by Madhuri K

I was extremely disappointed that the Hilton Waco was overbooked on my trip for a conference. My coworker and I specifically chose the hotel to be close to the convention center. When we found out through other coworkers that conference that the hotel might be overbooked (did not hear this through the hotel), I specifically called the hotel the day before our trip to confirm our reservation (which they did - they guaranteed a room). Further, the day of our reservation, we specifically arrived several hours prior to check-in to guarantee the reservation. The manager did not care that I had been promised the reservation and that I had called the previous day. We did everything we were supposed to to ensure we received our room (after not even hearing from the hotel that they were overbooked), and were turned away. Hilton: please do not overbook your hotel - it causes a lot of inconvenience and really causes a bad reputation. I will not make any reservations for a Hilton in the future because of this experience.
