Run Down Holiday Inn

by miluethi

This hotel is run down, except for the entry hall. Sloppy carpets in the hallway leading to doors where you have to run the key-card several times until it opens. The wallpaper started to peeling off and spiderwebs hanging in the bathroom.
You have to be less the 5' to put your head under the showerhead and my bathtub was damaged. The clock was still 1 hour ahead nearly a week after the change to winter time. Check my pictures.

I booked the hotel with breakfast included $7.50. The hotel manager at the reception forgot to give me the voucher. It took the waiter forever to get my order and after a super long while he came back with completely burned black toast. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture. The waiter was probably annoyed that I paid in advance and he doesn't get a tip.

There are other and probably much better to stay in Binghamton Downtown. Holiday Inn is for me a good quality brand, but this place needs to be renovated.

Pleasant Staff and Clean Room

by Esther V

The room was comfortable, clean and cozy. There was a fridge and microwave, and coffee maker. We went during the Luma festival but even though it was very loud in the streets late at night, we did not hear it from the room. We had a nice view of the water from our window. Whenever we asked for something we needed we got it very promptly.
