Worse Experience Ever

by Horzemom

Do not stay here. We stayed Thursday through Sunday. First night no internet, cable, pool or elevator use. Called front desk for information and was told they were not an electrician. Asked for extra blankets because room was cold and no heat had to call second time. Then NO Electricity at ALL-no emergency lights no call from hotel staff to tell us what was going on. The windows did not shut all the way (lots of air coming through) so the room was very cold. If I didn't pay in advance I would have left. Next morning NO cups for Coffee and asked for a cup and was told no other cups were in the hotel. Finally someone brought us on. Next morning NO COFFEE at all for the last two days of stay. Last night of stay there were wedding parties there and we were confronted with the guests next door at 10pm hearing their entire conversation (please note they were only talking but it sounded as if they were in the same room with us), we were trying to sleep due to 4:30am wake up. Called front desk transferred to manager DON, who became argumentative and belligerent with me and asked me "what do you want me to do about it", my response was I don't know YOU are the manager. We went round and round and he was nothing but rude and got more angry when I brought up all the crap we had already dealt with that I never complained about. He offered nothing to help and basically I gave up trying to argue with him at 10:30pm when I had to get up at 4:30am-so we were then woken up by our neighbors conversation at 3:30am when they came back to the room (Peeps in room 525 on Oct. 25th-I am SO glad you had such a great time reconnecting with your friends and am also very happy it was like old times). We could also see their light through the crack in the wall where it met the ceiling. Pictures attached. We went to check out in the morning (second morning of no complimentary coffee) and my bill was not printed and the lovely woman (Ann) at the front desk printed it out for me. I will tell you this, I picked this hotel because it was the closest to the venue for us with the least amount of negative comments. All I wanted was a quiet clean place for us to stay and I got a nightmare. I should also mention that when I booked the hotel I requested to be on the top floor and away from noise. I also double checked that request with the front desk prior to checking in. I will never stay at this hotel again, you can tell the employees are either afraid to go the extra mile because of the manager or they are simply not trained to do so. It is not four days after my stay and I have gotten no phone call or email to discuss the alleged compensation Don wanted to talk about on the phone at 10:30 sat night.

Dirty, Brown Stains On The Wall, Don Is Emotional

by Edbarstarzz

The charge for this hotel was 170$ including taxes for a single night. I stayed here on August 29th, we checked in at 11:00pm. Upon checking in we were given the room 514. Once we get upstairs the room was not made, completely dirty. We then go back downstairs to mention this and they give us a new room 519 which didn't have a working tv and smelled like cheap artificial air freshener. They send someone upstairs to move us to 520. Because of the inconvenience they promised free breakfast. The following morning we go downstairs for our free breakfast and noticed it was a coupon system, they never gave us the coupons. Once mentioning this they also didn't mark this down in the book. So we had to recount the whole story again to the morning staff.
After getting breakfast, we decided to voice our complaint. The room changes, the elevator smells like an old gym, multiple stains all over the hotel. The General Manager happened to be there named "Don". He seemed very concern but blamed the fact he couldn't give us a refund because we booked to hotels.com. He wrote down all our concerns and promised us points.
We go upstairs and proceed to call hotels.com who was willing to give us a full refund upon confirmation from the hotel's general manager "Don". Don then approved only a 50$ refund, so we decided to head back downstairs to ask why we couldn't have a full refund seeing at the hotel is disgusting. They are brown stairs on our third room, stains in the carpet, missing caulking on the ceiling. This resembles more a roach motel than a traditional Holiday Inn.
Upon requesting Don, he comes out asks what the problem is, we tell him with hotels.com on the phone and he becomes furious over the fact we are not happy with our stay, and begins to berate us in front of his staff as if we are looking for freebies. Don I would just like to stay in a room and not be concerned of catching Hepatitis. I literally have never been in a room with brown stains on the wall.
Don ended everything with a "call whoever you want, you not getting nothing" and "have a nice day" with an aggressive tone in front of the whole morning staff.
If are you considering this hotel please don't. This is at tops at 30$ hotel. I traveled to 30 countries, and stayed in hundreds of hotels and I have never seen a dirtier hotel, or as rude of a manager.
