My wife and I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Moab, Utah for one night in July, 2019.
The hotel is near Arches National Park and we booked our reservation through Orbitz. The room was advertised at $185 plus tax, but we achieved a reduced-rate through Orbitz points.
The room itself was clean, but unremarkable. The restroom lighting was poor and the cable television stations were significantly limited to 2-3 channels. The bed was fine and we slept soundly.
On the next morning, we awoke to grab a breakfast at the hotel before hiking in the national park. The hallway itself was dirty with sand and food seen throughout.
The eating area was highly-crowded, food service was significantly behind-schedule, and the quality of food was poor. I felt sorry for the employees who were working at that time; the hotel was under-staffed, one person was in charge of the food area and cleaning tables, etc.
This hotel was far below Holiday Inn standards.
We stayed here because we were going to Arches. It’s about a 5 minute drive to the park.
We had a double room and it was great for our family of 5. The pillows were so soft- I want one for home. We didn’t hear any traffic from the roads.
The breakfast was great. I had an omelet and my kids had the pancakes. They loved the pancake machine.
Overall it was a great place to stay.
When not visiting the national parks, families can enjoy the hotel's large outdoor swimming pool, which is heated and features a waterfall, fire pit and two hot tubs. A covered area of the pool provides shade for families seeking a break from the sun.
Visitors to Moab typically spend their days enjoying the parks, such as Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, both of which are within minutes of the hotel.
Complimentary Hot Breakfast
The hotel provides free hot breakfast daily in a dining space just off of the lobby. Enjoy omelets, pastries, cereal and more. Breakfast is served from 6 to 9:30 a.m.
The hotel does not feature onsite dining options, but it does provide a map and menus of local restaurants that deliver, offer takeout or can be enjoyed within minutes of the hotel.

Guests to the area and the hotel are typically driving in rental cars and touring a number of sites and parks in the area, and a car is necessary to get to this hotel.
