Where's the frig?

by TJ E

Pretty much anyplace we stay on the road has a refrigerator in the room. We had a wedding to attend in Albany and when you travel for fun weekend you generally bring snacks, cheese, dips, drinks that you want to put in a frig. Not here; you have to traipse down to the first floor to get a tiny bucket of ice - then what do you do with this? We bring bottled water on trips, and other beverages...we want to drink these cold from the bottle, not pour them into a tiny Styrofoam cup and use ice! Ok, I now have that out of my system. The hot breakfast included in the rate was perfectly fine: eggs, yogurt, bacon, sausage pancakes, etc. The pool was colder than I expected and tiny - I say close up the pool and use the money saved from this to purchase refrigerators for the rooms. Oh yeah, get color printer - a black & white map with colored bike trails, etc. is hard to figure. What else? It takes forever to change the channel on the TV, the delay is maddening. A little more focus on customer needs and satisfaction will go a long way to make staying here more enjoyable.

Nice place to stay near Albany

by Eric P

This is a good choice when you want to stay near Albany. Nice size rooms. Beds are very comfortable. My room had nice desk chair and a "lounge" chair. Bathroom was very clean, as was the rest. Wish the room had mini refrigerator. Breakfast was very good. I would stay again
