Located among the Great Smoky Mountains, kids under 19 years old stay free at this Holiday Inn Express with a paying adult. After a day of exploring the town, families can spend some time at the indoor pool. The kids will love to swim and splash and slide down the waterslide. There is a kiddie pool, too. The spacious and comfortable guestrooms and suites feature a king or two queen beds, a mini-fridge, microwave, flat screen television and a Keurig coffee maker. Additionally, the suites feature a sitting area with a sleeper sofa. Cribs and connecting rooms are also available. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is available throughout the hotel so there is never a concern about staying connected to home or work. Families can start each day with the free hot buffet breakfast that offers items like eggs, hot and cold cereal, waffles, fruit, yogurt and more.

Pros: new facility. USB plugs everywhere ( one of the first signs of 'new'/ up to date). breakfast was great. Has an elegant, contemporary look.
Cons: parking is all outdoors. the day we went, had problems with my room key, but they got it fixed ( had gotten trapped outside while raining, in back of hotel, trying to get into hotel through a rear entrance). I was use to sleeping on a foam bed. The bed I had was not a foam bed. I realize now how spoiled I am to a foam bed.
We have been coming to this hotel 3 or 4 times now, we really enjoy the little water park because it keeps us from having to do all the touristy stuff downtown ( for now) it’s a clean hotel, staff has been great and it’s walking distance to downtown. You get free breakfast but it’s your typical holiday inn express breakfast but again it saves you from spending an arm and a leg at the breakfast joints around
