Great Location but surrounding area is Scary!

We have stayed at this hotel several times. With each visit, the surrounding area gets more and more scary. Instead of the usual people sleeping along the walkway behind the hotel, this trip they were sleeping beside the sidewalks surrounding the hotel. This make walking around the area dicey, to say the least. My last review in April mentioned the number of homeless people camped out along the park walkway behind the hotel, along with the huge amount of trash and garbage lining the trail. This trip the people have also taken over the sidewalks in front of the hotel. Unless the hotels in this area can solve this problem, it is doubtful we will stay here again.

Very satisfied with room, breakfast, parking and staff.
Was welcomed to property and made to feel very satisfied with our choice to stay.
Not far from strip but lots of traffic. When coming back will book this location again.
