Not Military Friendly

by jcutter9864

DO NOT TRY TO STAY IN THE HIES IN CHEYENNE WYOMING IF YOU ARE MILITARY! We booked a room there three days in advance under military rate. We are 27 year disabled veteran and have stayed at hundreds of HIEs over the years and NEVER had an issue. When we arrived we were RUDELY turned away being told that is only for active duty. They wanted us to pay over $200 regular rate to stay. It says this no where in the booking process and we have never been told we weren't military because we were retired! Please copy and paste. I will also be pasting this on EVERY military and tra so site I belong to. We went to the hotel ( also a major chain) next door who were happy to accommodate us as military members. Shame on you HIE CHEYENNE!

Poor Choice

Does not meet standards of customer service, room quality, or billing practices of the Holiday Inn Express family of hotels. Recommend that you choose a different hotel until matters are resolved.

Still awaiting resolution of error in billing. Reservation was confirmed for 15,000 points and $89. Billing was $110 and 30,000 points. Manager has acknowledged errors in billing, but still no refund of points or cash.
