Best deal!

by soliera2019

We stayed in the airport area of Grand rapids because in the city rates were expensive. Turns out airport area was also nearly as high, but candlewood was about half as costly but just as nice! Pool and Whirlpool, most other hotels did not have both. The pool area was very nice. Clean rooms, courteous staff, kitchenette with dishes, etc- best deal of our whole trip to Michigan, convenient area to stay. Would come again

Don’t stay here

For the past twenty years I have stayed at many many hotels and staying at this one was the worst! When I drove up to it I actually thought it was a newer hotel but when I walked in, used the elevator and walked into my room I knew it was not a new place. The chairs had stains, there was blood on the bedspread and the sheets and even found a cheerio for an added bonus. The tub in the bathroom was gross and they use bottles in the shower and the soap was out!
