I have frequented this hotel since it opened. It was impeccable but I think it is now time for an update. The restaurant in front of it went out of business so you have to drive through an empty parking lot. Holiday Inn isn't responsible for a restaurant going out of business but what's up with the chain link fence between the restaurant and the inn. Tacky. Then I went to the executive sweet. The curtains were clean but obviously rumpled. New window treatments needed. Suggestion: Begin with the Executive Suite. The inn's book about the area is dated so it still includes the closed restaurant and leaves out so many of the great attractions and dining experiences now offered in Orlando. Holiday Inn has the makings of a quality hotel. I consider the prices high for what is actually offered so lower the prices or increase the quality. Thanks!
We stayed here while visiting family just a few blocks away. It was definitely one of the most affordable hotels in the area during the Holiday Season so expectations weren't too high.
Surprisingly enough our stay was GREAT! Check-in was quick, the room was adequate, the complimentary morning breakfast had a nice selection, parking was abundant and we felt safe.
We couldn't ask for anything more!
