Beautiful marina view

by Carylgb2020

Had a room in the old wing. Definitely needs updating from top to bottom. The balcony had a fantastic view, sunset was colorful, breathtaking. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance, all located along the waterfront. Breakfast in the morning was good with lots of seating and a water view as well. Electric vehicle charging is currently being installed and should be ready in the coming weeks. Nice to have small frig and microwave in the room.

An okay hotel to enjoy Ventura

We stayed for one night here and found it okay. The hotel has a newer wing but we unfortunately couldn't get a room there. The old wing rooms were okay, but you can feel that it's very dated. Nonetheless, everything worked great, the beds were comfortable, and you can call the front desk for bathroom amenities. I liked that the shower and toilet was separated from the sink. Our room had a huge balcony with half a view of the marina. Free breakfast is included and the selection was okay, but nobody seemed to be manning the breakfast area and we were never asked for our room number. I guess anyone can just get in.

The hotel is actually not as close to the beach as you might think. It's on the other side of the marina and if you are gonna walk, you'll have to go all the way around and it can take a long time. Takes five minutes by driving. The $12 parking fee is stupid, but you're paying for the convenience of parking your car next to the hotel.
