Expensive, dirty, and not impressed!

by mts3234

Check in was quick overall. Lobby is nice overall. Free parking is a plus.

Expensive overall for the below average size room with limited amenities. Because a conference was held next to this hotel, I decided to stay with the room block. Next time, I'll look at other hotels instead.

Not a clean place. Carpets dirty in the lobby, restaurant, and hallways. A few hairs left in the tub from the previous occupant. Curtains wouldn't close all the way and leftovers from a bandage was used to try and close them. Bathroom was small. Room didn't have fridge or microwave. Expensive at $150 per night!

Expected more for the price and being a Holiday Inn.

I had to stay here 4 nights for business and would have switched hotels if it werent nonrefundable. I will say the staff was nice and the main floor with the restaurant and bar were nice. The room was horribly outdated - one queen bed only, bad odor in the room, broken thermostat and shower head - the staff fixed it and it broke again, no mini fridge in the room, broken printer, among other things. For being a holiday inn downtown with a moderate price, there is much room for improvement.
