TripAdvisor Rating

Located in the center of Jekyll Island, this Holiday Inn is situated right in front of the Atlantic Ocean. Children under 19 stay free at this chain hotel when they are sharing a room with a parent and kids ages four to 12 eat free. Kids will love hanging out at the Kids Club area where there is a professional who will leave activities with your children year round. The playground is lots of fun and the outdoor pool is a great place to swim if your family is not interested in the beach. The guestrooms and suites feature a king bed or two queen beds, a mini-fridge, microwave, and flat screen television. Additionally, the spacious suites feature a separate living room with a sleeper sofa. Connection rooms and cribs are available upon request too. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is available. There are two onsite restaurants, one of which is poolside, that families can enjoy for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

magical as usual

by John L

been coming here for over 20 years and the last 2 years are the best. Great staff, especially Simone for making it special and Charlie for saving our dead battery on our car. We come here 1 to 2 times per year . Great restaurant and outside bar and food. Very dog friendly.

Do Not Stay Here

We stayed on April 5-7. On the night of April 6th, a member of maintenance staff entered our room with his hotel issued key card and stole a iPhone and set of AirPods. He tried to enter earlier in the evening while my family and I were dressing for dinner. The head of maintenance was able to pull the key logs from the door showing this individual had entered while we were off the property. The Georgia State Patrol was called, and a report was filed. After an investigation, the individual was terminated but our items were not recovered. The hotel mananger apologized for the incident and gave us her card with the hotel’s insurance company’s phone number. After calling the company, I was informed that I needed the hotel’s policy number. I called the Hotel Manager M Again and it has been over (10) days and I still have not heard from anyone from the Jekyll Island Holiday Inn or the corporate office with a policy number and/or claim number. I have left numerous messages for manager and general manager and neither have responded. This is horrible customer service. It was a great stay up until the point we found out we were robbed by an employee and now being ignored. We don’t plan to just fade away.
