We did a last minute trip to Disney to go to the Galaxy's Edge preview. Did not want to spend an arm and a leg so chose this Inn. Could not have been happier. I was familiar with the general area, so I knew my way around. A number of restaurants right there, even within walking distance, and an easy drive to Disney. We even changed our evening plans of hitting the parks to stay around the pool because there was so much to do there.
We will book again.
Well the good news is that this place is clean and dog friendly and a good value. The staff at check-in and everywhere else extend themselves to be friendly and accommodating - A plus for them. The rooms are comfortable and clean.
The downside is the billing of this as a resort. It is a hotel with a pool in the central courtyard. The pool is not particularly big but is is VERY busy all the time with families and children. There is a bar poolside and a few games but that does not a resort make.
There is a high priced food market and an Applebeess on site. The all you can eat Applebees breakfast is a standard breakfast generally free in other chain hotels. Order off the menu is a better value.
They were very dog-friendly which was why we choose them. We asked for a room on the end near an exit and we got one - they also gave us a "pet-in-room" tag to hang on our door so that no one disturbed our dog when we were out. But the "dog park" area is a strip along the parking lot about 2 feet wide. If you walk the entire perimeter you might be able to exercise your dog.
