Near the Dulles International Airport, this Holiday Inn Dulles is about a half-hour drive from Washington, D.C. attractions. Leesburg is also nearby, offering many shops and restaurants. The hotel provides a free shuttle to the airport. About 300 classy, sophisticated rooms feature luxurious linens, sitting areas with pullout couches, flat-screen televisions with premium cable channels and free Wi-Fi. Refrigerators and microwaves are available upon request. Kids also stay free at Holiday Inn.
Chantilly’s Restaurant serves a daily American, cooked-to-order breakfast with many options, including French toast, blueberry pancake and healthy omelets. O’Malley’s Irish Pub is open daily for lunch and dinner from 11:30 a.m. late into the night. Kids eat free at both restaurants. Pizza Hut Express is also onsite, offering room service from 6 a.m. to midnight.
A large pool at the hotel also hosts community water aerobic classes, so it’s a good idea to swim with the kids before 5:30 p.m. unless you want to join in for free. A 24-hour fitness center overlooks the pool with workout machines. The hotel also has an arcade with racing, claw and video games.

I purchased the stay, park, and fly package so I could leave my vehicle here for several days while I was on a business trip. I also wanted a hotel that has airport shuttle service to Dulles since my flight was very early in the morning. The hotel is either fairly new or has undergone a renovation. The front desk people were very nice and had me checked in in no time. My room was quiet and clean and had a refrigerator and a microwave which is nice if you have left over food or want to keep your drinks cold. I had a King bedroom which was quite spacious. The bed was softer than I am used to sleeping on. Otherwise it was OK. My main complaint was that the ice machine on the first floor was broken, so I had to find one on the second floor. I ate at O’Malley’s Pub inside of the hotel, had the whiskey BBQ burger and was very good. I would stay here again if I need to catch an early morning flight.

This was our second stay at this hotel. We find it perfect for catching an early flight from Dulles. Both times we have gone to bed early and not been disturbed. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well appointed. They have Airport transfer service and extended parking (for a fee) that is slighly cheaper than using the airport lots. Friends have used other hotels in the area with mixed reviews.
