Manitoba’s only ski resort with onsite accommodations, this affordable spot in the community of La Rivière has ski-in/ski-out lodging right at the base of the mountain in the form of 10 chalet-style cabins and the adjacent Mountain Inn. The cabins are A-frame style, with two double beds, bathrooms with both showers and tubs and microwaves, mini fridges and coffee makers, too. Mountain Inn rooms are of the standard motel variety but have all you need at day’s end, with a queen bed, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker, too. When booking, be sure to inquire about packages that include lift tickets for extra savings.

The actual hill itself is OK for being located in a prairie province. I would recommend this place for Families or beginners.
It gets packed very fast and with having only two chair lifts your waiting around a lot.
Multiple times coming only one chair has been in working order, which you can only imagine the line.
The worst part of this place is the food service.
It’s not efficient or fast and thy constantly “run out” of items.
Watching the confused kitchen staff try to navigate was entertaining...... however 18 minutes for a cold poutine is a little much.
17 minutes for a dried out hit dog... $46 for a lift ticket.
Save the money, skip this place and hit up a real resort for a better experience.

We skied/snowboarded two days in a row this weekend and loved it. It was a ton of fun. The hill is very well set up and the lift attendants are the most friendly and helpful I have ever seen. I brought three kids... 15, 12, and 10 and we all love it. There's something for everyone including the little ones. Love that the terrain park isn't cramped.
One comment is that both days in a row (noon the first day and 9am the next), there were 10 people standing in line for lift tickets and nobody manning the ticket line (had to wait behind rentals). So much great staff all over... cheaping out on staffing the ticket line is ridiculous. We get there, unload our stuff, get ready to go and want to get out there, not stand in line for 15 minutes. Otherwise 5 stars.
We didn't stay at the hotel.
