Enjoyable Holiday

by BUD76

This is the third Holiday Village we have stayed in and although smaller than the others it is just as good,
The Rooms as others have stated are a little dated but plenty of room for a family and kept nice and clean, my only pick about the room was the poorly fitted glass door to the bathroom...they have obviously been put there to modernise the rooms but in our room if you are in the kithen you can see straight in to the bathroom as there was a big gap at the side when shut.
Food was good, i found there was plenty to choose from and tasted nice...theme nights are good and offer a variety. The Italian restaurant was ok but pasta comes from main restaurant so not really worth the visit, BBQ was great with plenty of meat choices really well cooked.
Staff at the hotel were really friendly especially the waiters in the food hall who really made my son feel welcome and always made a fuss of him which he loved
I wish I could say the same for some of the entertainment team who i found were a little disinterested..i dont know if it was because we were approching the end of the season but compared to past HVs they looked like they were going through the motions, I do however have to single out Dom who was fantastic always friendly and helpfull and was fantastic to all the kids. Widget workshop was great and kids loved it, its little touches like this that keeps familys going knowing there child will have a great night. Evening entertainment was ok, it is light entertainment to relax to in the evening.
Pools were extremely cold even in 24 degree weather, but it did not stop me or my little one enjoying them and there is an indoor pool which is warmer. Location is great, depending on the speed you walk its 5-10 minutes to two lovely beaches the water is also warmer and very clear. And the same distance to the marine which has plenty of bars and restaurants.
Overall had a great holiday and a bargin for the price I paid. We pain around £1000 for 3 of us and at that price it was fantastic. If I was paying that per person i would look at other places to go.

It was ok

Stayed here all inclusive for a week with my partner, 7 year old and 11 month old. The rooms were clean and spacious however a little dated. Could do with a makeover. The hotel facilities were nice, again clean and more modern than the rooms. The pool area was fab but the water was sooooo cold! i havr never been in a pool so cold before. Maybe just the time of year. The activities were brilliant and the kids really enjoyed them. The staff were great and really helpful. Food was good no complaints
