This is one of the most exclusive, expansive and incredible ranches in all of the Rocky Mountains. If it’s offered, The Home Ranch has it.
From summer activities like horseback riding, hiking, yoga, cycling and fly-fishing to winter activities including skiing, sledding, tubing, snowshoeing, skiing, sleigh rides and guided back country tours, you will never need to leave this incredible paradise, located 18 miles north of Steamboat Springs.
When it comes to lodging, there are many options. There are a multitude of cabins, and some that can accommodate larger families in five- and six-person cabins. There are also traditional lodge rooms. It’s all high-class with modern, yet rustic options, and each room has a view and access to outdoor space.
All meals are included in the all-inclusive rate at the ranch. From snacks to morning coffee, to an afternoon protein and fruit snack, to incredible, four-course meals followed by a sweet treat, you will never yearn for another calorie onsite!
Additional perks include the children’s program and children’s meals. A smaller guest count (maximum of 50 people) means a better experience for all. This is one ranch that truly has a vast amount of activity for families, with ease of planning.

We stayed for 4 nights and got so much out of our trip
Airport pickup was well organized and meant we were out of the airport and on property really efficiently - same for the return.
They have great equipment and trails for skiing and snowshoeing. However, it is the guides that make a difference. They really looked after us, gave us patient but fun tuition and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves every day. They can and will cater to any ability level in any activity they offer.
It’s a R&C property so the standard of cuisine is high - it’s a point of pride for them. We were lucky enough to experience the talent of their chefs in a very intimate setting and it was something we will remember.
It’s a small property in a gigantic setting. You’ll interact with all the staff and they were one of the best things about the Home Ranch. Closely followed by their fantastic ski trails!
We stayed in a lodge room. It was cozy but spacious and we liked relaxing in the main house.

One of our most favorite places - this was our 10th visit, this time with a group of 23 for a family get-together. Always the BEST!, Everyone there is so welcoming and friendly. Food is wonderful and more than you can eat - but you do anyway! And delicious snacks in case you want more to eat. Mike is ever patient with the x country skiing and can't do enough to help, Accommodations are perfect. The whole place is so upscale, but delightfully understated. We love it and hopefully will get back. Thanks to everyone who made our special long weekend very special.
