Overview

The Homer Inn is a small, boutique hotel with a gorgeous beachfront location. The Oceanfront Villa is perfect for a large family looking for something different than the typical hotel. The Villa features a king bed, twin bed and queen futon. It also includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, satellite TV and private entry from the Inn’s huge back deck overlooking the ocean. The beautifully decorated Villa is filled with the most luxurious furniture, bedding, art, dishes and utensils. Other amenities of The Homer Inn include an outdoor hot tub, log swing, complimentary beverages and a fire ring. Kids will love being able to run right out onto the beach to play in the tide pools and search for shells. Parents will want to take some time to enjoy the onsite spa, which offers glacial mud wraps, hot stone massages, tea service and more.

Downtown Homer is within easy walking distance of The Homer Inn. There are restaurants, art galleries and grocery stores mere blocks away. A wetlands trail is a 10-minute walk down the beach, where you might spot a moose or bald eagle. You’ll be five minutes from the Pratt Museum, which tells the history and culture of the area from the earliest Native Alaskans to modern times. Drive out to the Homer Spit to visit the eclectic shops and restaurants at the harbor and do some more beachcombing. You can also find fishing charter companies here and find out why Homer is the Halibut Fishing Capital of the World. Another fun excursion leaving from the harbor is a cruise across Kachemak Bay to the kid-friendly Grewingk Glacier Trail. The Homer Inn & Spa combines convenience with luxury to help make the ultimate Alaska family vacation.

Perfect Place to Stay

by KMCRLC

The Homer Inn is fantastic. The view is amazing, both from the room and the outdoor shared deck. The room was a good size for two, and the little extras (wine glasses, tea, a few plates and silverware) made the visit perfect. I highly recommend staying here. You are only a few minutes from both downtown and the spit.

Wonderful breath of fresh air

by Richie B

My wife and I stay at Homer Inn & Spa was a breath of fresh air.
The room was nest as a pin and the staff was very helpful.
My wife had a spa day while I went to see the bears. Paul helped book both things.
We were not disappointed.
Paul helped me book a Halibut charter which was womderful.
Please sure to take advantage of the deck.
I read a book and watched the tide go out for a long time.
The view is incredible.
Will book with them when back in Homer.
Book early because space is limited.
