Very nice property

by Mike K

We spent two nights here to visit Monticello. The hotel is 15 - 30 minutes from Monticello depending on traffic. The hotel was very clean and had good attention to detail. It had a nice indoor pool with hot tub, and an above average fitness center. It also had a good breakfast and complementary light snacks in the evenings (Mon - Thur). Our room had a small kitchen for making meals in the room. It also had two TVs equipped with satellite TV and on-screen program guide. There is a lot of retail shopping and restaurants nearby. There is some retail/restaurants in walking distance of the hotel. Furthermore, the hotel has a free shuttle service to take you places (I did not use the shuttle). Additionally, the hotel has a few charging stations for electric vehicles. The staff was very friendly.

The hotel was a bit pricey... when I booked it I thought I was overpaying, but after staying there and seeing the property and the area it was in, I was ok with the price I had paid. I would stay here again if visiting Charlottesville.

Best Hotel in the Area

Great staff, complimentary breakfast. If you travel during the week (Monday-Thursday) there is a complimentary social hour with a light meal, wine and beer. Accommodations are excellent--full kitchen, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc. Very comfortable beds!
