Terrible Breakfast

by GoPlaces48653835001

Great location, Great price, Great Room, Breakfast was terrible, very dissapointed. Ended up going elsewhere for breakfast the remaining days of our stay. Highly recommend the Hearth Cafe for breakfast.

Not great!

For some reason, hotels were heavily booked and expensive for our 2 nights in the area to visit our son at Washington University. This was available and near campus so grabbed it. Very disappointed. We stay in Hilton and Marriott properties (all levels basic, mid- range and luxury) at least 6 nights per month and this was the worst hotel we have been to in a long time. It is well worn and tired. Our room (913) literally looked over the highway. And the noise went on all night. Including multiple emergency vehicles going by at various times. The breakfast was typical for the brand but the ready made omelet was filled with Cheese Whiz. The staff was very friendly in all departments. Walkable to mall and shopping and chain restaurants but nothing unique. Check out photos from my room below. The blue Jolly Rancher candy in the overhead light fixture is particularly humorous. The carpet repair was in our room also. Won’t be going back.
