The sleepless nights due to old warn out beds

by ather2nj

Staff were great and very friendly. The beds were terrible I felt more tired in the morning then I did when I went to bed. The beds were old and worn out. I stayed in room 311. Also the bed sheets did not fit the bed the fitted sheet was only stretched over the pillow top. I have told others of my experience and warned then not to say at your resort if you want a good night sleep

Hareseshoe Valley Resort

Lovely setting, staff were pleasant, nice. The building, facilities, rooms are dated. There were some issues with heat in the room (could not get it to work), and there was a faulty shower head. Hall way carpets (light brown) show up a lot of stains. The facilities are cleaned, and the resort was not dirty, or messy, but the wear and tear of time is very evident, and makes it appear less clean. We had dinner in the main restaurant, it was average, but for the price, it rates poorer. Some very odd taste concoctions from the chef (Strawberry Mint Butter) that did not work. One order of pasta (caprse ravioli) swam in oil. Salmon over falafel pancake was nice, but the salmon overcooked, lovely taste, but it's too bad the salmon was overdone.
