Historic yet contemporary, sophisticated yet family-friendly, the Hotel Albuquerque is located in the quaint and lovely Old Town area of the city. Guests can easily walk to plenty of restaurants, attractions, and parks, so renting a car isn’t strictly necessary. On certain Saturdays throughout the year, join a walking tour through Historic Old Town to learn about various aspects of the city’s past.
Families have several choices when it comes to their actual room. Traditional rooms include one king or two double beds, but families may also be interested in the Junior Suite or Presidential Suite, which both offer lots of extra space — though you’ll need to request rollaway beds for the kids, as each suite originally comes with a king bed only.
Find onsite relaxation and fun at the expansive outdoor pool or jetted hot tub, surrounded by lush gardens and views of the mountains. And don’t forget to take advantage of the hotel’s “local treasures” discount card, which entitles you to a 15% discount at participating businesses.

The hotel was easy to find and is walking distance to Old Town and museums. It was a short ride to and from the airport, barring any traffic. The rooms were nice. I had a view overlooking the courtyard. This had pluses and negatives. Two nights that I was there they had a wedding and a reunion. It got a little loud at night. The bar had a good selection of margaritas.
I was recently visiting for the MPLA Conference and was so impressed by the professionalism of the staff (Angelica in housekeeping truly was an angel!), the charm of the decor, the warm fireplace, the restaurant and room service food & service with a smile- definitely gives your local Hilton a run for the money! Loved, loved the place. Thank you, everyone, for making my stay away from home so comfortable.
