The Hotel Ballard is situated in Ballard, a trendy neighborhood in Seattle that’s known for its restaurants, record stores, and boutiques. It’s also close to the Ballard Locks, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Seattle, and a short distance from Golden Gardens Park, a fantastic beach on Puget Sound complete with a playground, fire pits, and picnic areas.

The hotel, while luxurious, welcomes families with spacious rooms and suites that include free Wi-Fi. Mini-fridges and cribs are available upon request.

Amazing Stay!

Hotel Ballard was the perfect place to celebrate our engagement. The staff was over the top nice to us and took amazing care to make our night special. Thank you so much to the entire staff, but especially Danielle who was the mastermind behind our great stay. We will definitely be back to this special place.

Amazing Comfort in the Heart of Ballard

Love this hotel! On the tail end of an extended visit to Seattle and the surrounding area, we decided to spend our last night in Hotel Ballard. This is a top shelf, boutique hotel. We booked a garden view room which is on the 5th floor (top floor/roof) of hotel. Each room has a small sitting area and a spa like bathroom with a standalone bath tub.

The rooms and decorations are fabulous and you have nice views of the water and surrounding area (no views of downtown or the space needle).

Service was wonderful as you would expect from a top end hotel. Parking is in the garage, but if you have a large car/truck (we had an Ford expedition) we had to park in a garage a block away. Not a big deal, but it took a while to figure out the program. Also, be careful when there are festivals in the area. There's always a farmer's market on Sunday and they close the streets. You can still access the hotel, but have patience.

In the room there was great A/C which I believe also generated some "white noise" to drown out any sounds from the street or the rooms next door. It didn't bother me, but my wife wasn't time she'll wear ear plugs.

A most excellent hotel especially if you want to stay away from downtown Seattle and don't mind some of the missing attributes of a truly top end hotel (e.g., no valet parking).

Guest membership to the Olympic Gym is included and there's a pool and hot tub at the gym. This is a great gym!
