On Miami Beach’s Art Deco Ocean Drive, this 99-room boutique hotel was renovated and reopened in 2011. Superior rooms start the offerings in 350 square feet with a king bed, while Deluxe Rooms provide a balcony and oftentimes a couch that can serve as a bed for a small child. Junior Suites provide a separate sitting area with sofa. Four rooftop suites are the largest offering with a sitting area and rooftop hot tub. All rooms are outfitted with 42-inch flat-screen TVs, iPod docking stations, and free Wi-Fi. The front porch of the Breakwater is a restaurant called Il Paparazzi. Not part of the hotel, guests receive a 20 percent discount to dine here. A dining area between the hotel’s two buildings known as Ocean’s Ten provides sidewalk dining from breakfast through dinner.

We stayed only 2 nights but the front desk customer service and the Room service it was perfect! My special thanks to Christopher and the other guy wearing glasses you guys are amazing sorry forget the name...
We had a superior double room. The room its self was very big. Everything was available in it ie tv, safe, tea and coffee facilities and a new iron and ironing board. Bathroom is very large too with 2 sinks his and hers. Room cleaned daily with fresh towels. Reception staff are very nice and helpful. They have a small pool with some sun loungers available. Hotel is across the road from the beach.
