I adore staying at a StayPineapple hotel whenever I can and the Chicago location does NOT disappoint. Every staff member was engaging and enthusiastic. All the little perks of the Pineapple brand where abundant. This is a hotel that MUST be on your radar when you book in Chicago.
My husband and I spent a night at StayPineapple in Chicago while there to see Hamilton (which I also highly recommend). We enjoyed the proximity to theaters, shopping, and the beautiful walking/biking trail along Lake Michigan. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel because the food and drinks are good, it’s reasonably priced (for a big city), and the restaurant setting is attractive. My understanding is that the hotel was the original Burnham “skyscraper” and the home of Carson Pirie Scott. Many of the mosaic floors, fixtures, and elevators are original, but the overall feeling is modern. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful too.
