Wonderful room in a well-kept hotel

by Totalvelma

We really loved our room, which was downstairs facing a private courtyard. The bathroom was extremely small, but we are used to that. The desk personnel are nice enough and the upstairs balcony cafe is very convenient in the morning. The view is lovely from there.

The location is convenient to most of downtown Oaxaca City, but on a very busy street so the first part of the walk isn't pleasant and it is difficult for vehicles to stop in front of the hotel.

Stupendo!

This is a fantastic base for exploring Oaxaca city. The building is beautiful, it has an amazing roof terrace with panoramic city views, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms, and the host Danny is friendly, generous and happy to share his extensive knowledge with you.
If you're lucky enough to have a room that overlooks the central galleria make sure you shut the curtains after your morning shower so as not to distract the other guests from their breakfast. We caused such a scene that the host thought that someone had fallen off the roof.
