Excellent Stay

My wife and I stayed in Casantica in November of 2019 for the dia de los muertos. I have to say this place is the best it's super clean super friendly and it's in the heart of downtown where everything is at. The staff was great from the hotel hosts to our maid's cooks, Bell-Boy wow am just sad that we had to leave. I have one person to thank and that's Adriana Lopez she was so helpful always willing to help us in everything especially on what tours to take, Thank you Casantica for making us feel at home we will be back

Comfortable with a Terrific Location

I found the staff at CasAntica to be extremely helpful and very friendly. The hotel is very clean with comfortable beds and a functional washroom. The bedrooms are small as this is an old monastery but they are of sufficient size (not "Europe small"). The restaurant is good at reasonable prices and there is a nice inner courtyard to have a delicious traditional Oaxaca breakfast. The hotel is close to everything and the Front Desk can arrange a taxi ride to all the sites further afield. We hired a cab to take us to Monte Alban and then come pick us up - very cheap. We hired the same driver to drive us to the pottery and Alebrije villages at 250 MXN an hour. The hotel pool is warm and very relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel.
