Hotel Ella is located in the historic Goodall Wooten House, one of Austin’s landmark estates, just a few minutes’ walk from the Texas State Capitol and the University of Texas. There’s a complimentary house car to shuttle you to favorite Austin attractions and restaurants within 3 miles. The mansion, built in 1900, underwent extensive renovations in 2013. For those looking for a different kind of experience, the 47-room hotel, complete with a swimming pool and wrap-around veranda, is guaranteed to please. Art and style have always been important here and today a diverse collection of Texas Modernist works are on display. The local American bistro, Goodall’s Kitchen, is located at the hotel, with casual indoor and outdoor dining for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Each room features custom-designed furniture and is equipped with one king or two queen beds, while the Mansion Petite Suite has floor-to-ceiling French doors that open to the balcony.

I will never stay at this hotel again..overcharged me, and lied about my reservations...charged me valet service the morning i was leaving...i am notifying my seminar organizers that if they have next year's seminar there, I will not attend
This hotel was cozy, clean, and provided great customer service. As someone who travels frequently for work, it was nice to experience a place that felt like home. I was referred by my coworker to stay here, and have no regrets!
