The best part about this hotel is the family rooms. These spacious guestrooms feature two separated bedrooms – one with a double bed and one with two twin beds. The family rooms are specially designed for families with large panoramic windows, wooden floors, a large working desk, Wi-Fi, two flat-screen TVs with international channels, mini-bar, safe, air conditioning and a marble bathroom. Cribs and extra beds are available upon request.
Hotel Paseo del Arte is close to the Atocha train station, Retiro Park and the Prado Museum.

I stayed at the Hotel Paseo del Arte for 2 nights in November 2019. We booked it for the location, very close to Atocha station and the park. The staff at the front desk were firendly, although when we checked in they tried to tell us the hotel was fully booked (despite the fact that we had a paid reservation) and we didn't have a room - not the best start to our stay. However, we had to insist we had to stay as our relatives also had a booking! The beds were comfy and the hotel was generally quiet. The rooftop terrace was, unfortunately, closed which was a shame because I thought the view could be lovely. So, in summary, a little mixed but good enough.
Pro: friendly desk staff and generally clean room. However room rate went from €150 on Sunday to over €480 on Tuesday. Ridiculous for a very average hotel. Add to this the bath flooded our bathroom on the Tuesday. The cap to the drain on the bathroom floor had not been screwed down , so we had the same issue the next morning as no-one had told us that nothing had been done. Poor communication from the manager- while has still not responded to my email....
