Soiled tissue in bathroom

Filth. We arrived late(ish) after a long bus journey and were initially stopped from entering the hotel. We refused to be sent across the road as instructed as we wanted what we had booked.

We were given the key and taken to our room where we found the bin in the bathroom still full of soiled toilet paper from the previous occupant.

By the looks of things they deliberately over book the hotel in order to fill up the lesser rated dive across the road.

Good hotel

The room was nice, the staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast included was very good. The hotel is located within walking distance of the Plaza de Armas. Because of some roadblocks I arrived a day late, but they didn't charge me for that night.
