Great Hotel

We enjoyed our time in this Hotel. We have been for couple days here. The Hotel is clean and safe. It's located in the center of Iquitos. We highly recommend this hotel for travelers. We enjoyed Iquitos and we will come back.

Convenient and Comfortable

by YacantoTim

The Safari is as well-located as a hotel in Iquitos can be: steps away from the malecon (river walk) and the main square, within easy reach of most of the best restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has a pool, a major attraction, and is air conditioned, albeit noisily. Nevertheless, better cool and noisy than sweltering and quiet!

Very friendly and helpful staff (manager Pablo in particular), some rooms better than others, room lighting not as good as one would hope, single rooms without windows, but given the heat... Pleasant lounges with river views and comfortable chairs, however. At age 70, I could have done without the stair climbing, but then again, it's healthy! Help with luggage is of course on hand. Bathrooms are more than adequate and not the tiny closets one so often encounters.

Overall, a very good choice in Iquitos.
